Sean was born and raised in San Diego, California. While living in Southern California, he met the love of his life. In 2011, Sean followed his bride to the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Since then, Sean has never looked back.
When he arrived, Sean completed his Bachelor of Arts in Theology with a minor in Biblical Studies at Colorado Christian University. Sean attended University of Denver, Sturm College of Law following his undergraduate education, and he received his Juris Doctor in 2017.
Sean had a passion for immigration after being told the horror stories of unscrupulous “notarios” taking advantage of immigrants in the guise of legal representation; his mother-in-law was one such victim. While in law school, Sean took every immigration class available and volunteered much of his spare time helping people through the U.S. citizenship process.
Master of Laws in Taxation
Sean obtained his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program where he learned the ins and outs of Taxation. Sean attended the Graduate Tax Program part time while working full time as a law clerk and lawyer.
Sean’s legal career started in 2018 in the best place for a young lawyer to learn and grow: he worked as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Larimer County and Adams County District Courts. In that position, he helped these Courts write their orders while learning a great deal about the law and the Court process.
Sean went on to practice as a tax lawyer where he applied the taxation knowledge he learned in the Graduate Tax Program to defending hardworking citizens from the IRS and challenging the government in Tax Court.
